Our story
Amagi Vertiports was founded in 2025 by Elijah (Eli) Olson and is based on Camano Island, Washington.
Electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and delivery drones are advancing quickly, but they need places to land, charge and load. We help airports plan those places: compact, standardized vertiports and charging at existing airports, where aviation use and zoning are already in place. Our focus is drone delivery, starting with medical and parcel, plus eVTOL for emergency services.
Amagi works as a consulting firm. We help airports with site screening, layouts, power and charging plans, construction planning and funding strategy. Our approach aligns with WSDOT’s initial focus on charging infrastructure. The company is privately led, open to public funding partnerships.
The team pairs 23 years of electrical equipment procurement (Eli Olson) with 25 years of airport construction, estimating and project management (Rob McAllister).

Founder
23 years in electrical equipment procurement, including electrical materials for airport rehabilitation projects. Eli leads strategy, airport relationships and charging and power planning.
Rob McAllister
Partner
25 years in airport construction, estimating and project management. Rob leads construction planning, phasing and cost estimating for work on active airfields.
